We are actively searching for a dedicated Estate Manager and Head Gardener for a hands-on, live-in role at a prominent estate situated in Örsundsbro, Sweden. This unique opportunity is located within easy reach, just a 50-minute drive from Stockholm and 25 minutes from Uppsala or Enköping. The role demands direct involvement in both the detailed gardening and the comprehensive maintenance of the estate, which is home to extensive gardens, woodlands, and multiple buildings.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Gardening and Horticulture (Hands-On):**

- Directly engage in detailed gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, hedge trimming, and maintaining lawns and landscaped areas.
- Actively participate in the cultivation and care of trees, garden beds, and greenhouse operations.
- Implement both organic and chemical pest management solutions firsthand.
- Personally manage the estate's irrigation systems to ensure their optimal operation.

**Estate Maintenance (Hands-On):**

- Execute maintenance tasks including jet washing, leaf blowing, and snow clearance.
- Carry out minor repairs and maintenance efforts, such as painting, basic carpentry tasks, and general upkeep.
- Directly oversee the maintenance and operation of estate machinery, tools, and vehicles.

**Qualifications**

- Solid hands-on experience in gardening, landscaping, or estate management, ideally within a large private estate.
- Applicable certifications in horticulture or related disciplines are preferred.
- Strong capability for physical work and hands-on maintenance tasks.
- Must be eligible to work in Sweden, possess a valid driving license, and provide outstanding references from previous employers.

**Additional Position Details**

- This is a live-in position, with accommodation provided on the estate.
- The role is full-time and permanent, requiring a 5-day work week.
- Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, ranging from 28,000 SEK to 35,000 SEK per month.

**Seasonal Working Hours:**

Due to the estate's location and seasonal climate variations, expect longer hours during the summer months and reduced hours during the winter.
