We are seeking an experienced gardener and Handyman or Gardener Handyman to maintain a large estate located in Örsundsbro, Sweden, a 50-minute drive from Stockholm and a 25-minute drive from Uppsala or Enköping. The estate comprises extensive gardens, woodlands, and multiple buildings requiring varied maintenance.

Responsibilities

Horticulture and Gardening:

Hedge trimming and shaping
Deadheading, planting, and soil fertilisation
Lawn mowing, edging, and seasonal turf care
Use and maintenance of garden machinery
Tree care, including pruning and disease management
Organic and chemical pest control
Irrigation system management
Plant propagation and greenhouse management
Vegetable and flower bed planning and maintenance
Snow removal and winter garden preparation
General Maintenance, Handyman, and Carpentry Tasks:

Jet washing, leaf blowing
Light painting and decorating
Changing light bulbs and fixing handles
Basic carpentry tasks such as fence building and deck repairs
Clearing drains and gutter maintenance
Furniture assembly
Minor plumbing
Qualifications

Certifications in horticulture
Certifications in machinery operation are advantageous but not mandatory.
Eligible to work in Sweden
5+ years of professional experience as a Gardener, ideally within a private, large estate
Basic carpentry experience
Clean driving license
Excellent references from prior employers that can be contacted
Additional

Must be able to commute daily to Örsundsbro
The position is full-time, permanent, 5 days a week
Salary: Starting at 28,000 SEK to 35,000 SEK per month (depending on experience and qualifications)
Seasonal Hours

Due to the location and climate, expect to work longer hours during the summer (high season) and shorter hours during the winter (low season).
