CuraCell seeks project manager

CuraCell Holding AB is a young Swedish biopharma company developing cancer treatment based on tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs). We are now recruiting a project manager with a scientific background to support the clinical operations team. The position will also involve laboratory work and we seek a person with experience in TIL manufacturing development and immune-based assays so the ideal person should have experience from clinical development, including communication with hospitals, laboratories etc., as well as a technical background in ATMP development focusing on TILs (or similar).

The role

As a project manager you are expected to support the ongoing projects in the company. In your role you will collaborate with team members both within and outside the organization. You are a people-person that enjoy the interactions with others but who can also perform tasks within the projects. Real-work experience from GMP product development, quality/CMC and interactions with the regulatory authorities in EU is meriting.

Main responsibilities

· Project management using Microsoft 365, including budget and time management within the organization and with external collaborators.

· Preclinical development and performing CMC-related experiments.

· Support the clinical operations team, including communication, scientific/medical and CMC writing.

Requirements:

· PhD in immunology, stem cell biology, or similar relevant topic. Hands-on experience in flow cytometry, methods in isolation and activation of immune cells is mandatory competences.

· >2 years work experience in relevant area after PhD defense, where a maximum of 5 years is within academia.

· Experience from working in biotech industry and pharmaceutical development with ATMPs, ideally TILs or similar cell therapy targeting cancer.

· Experienced in aseptic cell culture work and immune-based assays. Experience from working with scale-out processes and bioreactors is meriting.

· Experienced user of Microsoft365.

· Fluent in English both orally and in writing, Swedish is meriting.

Another key competence is communication skills, as you effectively need to be able to communicate with both internal and external partners at all levels. You also enjoy working in a small organization that requires an agile mindset as work tasks can change fast.
