Rauland Skisenter AS is one of Telemark's largest tourism companies and we are among the larger resorts in Norway. With us, we facilitate good skiing experiences for the whole family in a snow-sure mountain area. Rauland is located in Vinje Municipality, which has long traditions of travel and tourism. The centre of Rauland is well developed with retail and dining. Our operations are conducted in Vierli, Tiur and in Holtardalen.

Our staff is our most important resource, and in high season we have almost 100 employees of all ages and nationalities. We operate year-round, and have activities in skiing, accommodation, cleaning and dining, among other things. Rauland Skisenter is also Eco-Lighthouse certified (Miljøfyrtårn).

About the position

We are looking for lift operators for the winter season 25/26. We are looking for employees in full-time positions.

Throughout the winter, we ensure that thousands of ski-loving guests have good experiences in our ski resort. We have 12 different ski lifts that transport our guests around the resort.

Working as a lift operator means that you meet and help our guests get on and off our lifts in a safe and secure manner. The job includes daily inspection and simple maintenance of the lift, snow shoveling and netting/signage.

The lift operators are part of the ski resorts chairlift rescue team and applicants should therefore be in good physical shape and be able to work at height. Experience from other ski resorts is an advantage, but not a requirement. Necessary training will be provided. You should be able to work independently but also work well in teams.

Full-time position

Working hours: Full-time. Weekend and holiday work must be expected.

Qualifications

.Speak and understand at least one Scandinavian language

.You must be 18 years old and have a category B driver's license

.The lift operators are part of the ski resorts chairlift rescue team and applicants should therefore be in good physical shape and be able to work at height

Employment period:

Seasonal position from the beginning of December (probably 9 December)-April. The winter season starts at Christmas, but in advance there will be training and some operational work.
