We are looking for 1-2 motivated farmworkers to join our dairy farm team in Karasjok, Northern Norway. You will be responsible for taking care of the cows and assisting with general farm work.

About the farm:

Our dairy farm is located in Karasjok, Northern Norway. Experience breathtaking nature, the midnight sun in summer, and the northern lights in winter, along with cold but invigorating temperatures.

About the role:

- Work primarily in the cow barn, divided into morning and evening shifts, on weekdays and weekends.

- Perform daily cow barn tasks: milking, feeding, cleaning, monitoring cow health, identifying cows in heat, assisting the veterinarian, and caring for cows before and after calving.

- Handle additional farm duties: fencing, tractor driving (if licensed), cleaning, maintenance, and other tasks as needed.

- Work independently and take responsibility for the well-being of the animals and proper operation of equipment.

Employment details:

- Positions: 2 × 75% (workload varies throughout the year).

- Start date: March 1

- Salary: Negotiable, based on experience

Requirements:

- Fluency in Norwegian or English

- Driving licence category B

- Physically fit for farm work

- Prior experience working with cows and farm tasks

- If applying from outside the Schengen/EU area, valid work permit required before applying

Personal qualities:

- Reliable, responsible, and flexible

- Strong work ethic

- Able to work independently

Salary: from 185 NOK pr hour.
